BIOFACH 2019: A SUCCESSFUL EDITION FOR TRITORDEUM
BIOFACH 2019 – the world’s leading trade fair for organic food celebrated in Nuremberg from 13th to 16th February – has been very positive for Tritordeum. We would like to thank all the collaborators and partners that have made this edition a real success.
Many professional visitors came to taste and discover the benefits of the most prized cereal of 2018.
Our stand and products have attracted the attention of manufacturers, distributors and retailers from all over the world. Thanks in part of the good job Seydou Diallo, the French baker, and Luca Boerci, the Italian pizzaiolo, made in demonstrating their recipes during the exhibition.
Fresh bread, biscuits, madeleines, pizzas and focaccias – all made with Tritordeum flour – were baked during the fair, delighting visitors’palates. Moreover, the diversity and wide range of products displayed in the stand showed perfectly the real versatility of this Mediterranean cereal.
In this edition, we were proud to announce that two companies were launching Tritordeum products in their stands: the German milling company Meyermühle presented Tritordeum organic flour to their clients (Hall 6 – Stand 311) and Meesters Van de Halm presented organic Tritordeum flakes (Hall 5 – Stand 108).
As a new feature this year, one of the first tritordeum craft beers made with 100% tritordeum malt was presented in the Novelty Stand.
