THE MOST PRIZED CEREAL OF 2018 CONFIRMS ITS PRESENCE IN BIOFACH 2019

For the third consecutive year, the Tritordeum team will be at Nuremberg to present the benefits of this Mediterranean cereal at the worlds’ most important organic fair: Biofach 2019.

After a very successful 2018 – with several awards and acknowledgments by the Agri-food industry in Europe – Tritordeum comes back to Biofach recognised as a premium sustainable ingredient for the sector.

Specifically, Tritordeum won the first prize in the category Sustainable Ingredient in the Sustainable Food Awards 2018 and the first award in the category Best Better-for-You Ingredient of the Year at the Food Matters Live Awards 2018. Furthermore, Tritordeum is one of the 10 finalists in the PepsiCo’s accelerator programme in Europe.

Fresh-baked bread, biscuits, pizza, focaccia and pasta are some of the tritordeum products that the visitor will taste from the 13th to 16th February in the Tritordeum stand (Hall 5, Stand 142). A full agenda of show cookings, lead by a wide range of international professionals will be presented thanks to the collaboration of Agrasys, Fiordimonte, Giovanni Cane and Tomato Farm.

Biofach 2019 will be the perfect scenario to discover and taste the most prized cereal of 2018: Tritordeum.
